Services for People with Disabilities

For assistance with copying materials, retrieving materials, or obtaining an elevator key, ask at the Circulation or Reference Desks. For assistance with searching for materials, ask at the Reference Desk.

RMU Library has a handicapped entrance that operates with an automatic door opener. Christopher Devine, Interim Library Director, issues door openers to faculty and staff who have been approved for this accomodation by the Department of Human Resources and to students who have received accommodations from the Center for Student Success.

Other handicapped library users should park in any handicapped spot convenient to the Nicholson Center. The Nicholson Center has several elevators. The fourth floor of the Nicholson Center provides easy access to the Library.

For information about other Library accommodations, contact Christopher Devine.

If the need for specific assistance is more extensive, contact the Center for Student Success - Disability Services for the best possible accomodation.
