Services for Alumni & Community Users

LIBRARY SERVICES AVAILABLE TO ALUMNI & COMMUNITY USERS
If you would like to check out books, you may obtain a Community Patron Card at the Circulation Desk for $10. If you are a RMU Alumnus, there is no charge.

Another way of borrowing books from the RMU Libraries is to contact a library that you are affiliated with (such as a local public library), and request books through that library's interlibrary loan service.

LIBRARY DATABASE ACCESS
RMU Library has dropped access to the ProQuest for Alumni database subscription.

Note: ProQuest for Alumni is and was NOT the same as the large, scholarly database suites you had access to as an RMU student. ProQuest for Alumni included a small percentage of the large number of databases available with ProQuest Research Library or ProQuest Central. ProQuest for Alumni does not include ProQuest Dissertations and does not include specialized scholarly journals etc.

Due to budgetary limitations and low general usage, the Robert Morris University Library has discontinued access to ProQuest for Alumni.

We regret any inconvenience that this may cause and we invite all RMU alumni to contact the Reference Desk (library@rmu.edu or 412-397-6871) for guidance as to what alternative resources might be available.

It remains our hope that at some point in the future, we will again be able to offer ProQuest for Alumni or a similar set of databases to our alumni.
