Instructional Resource Center (IRC)

ABOUT
The Instructional Resource Center (IRC) is comprised of elementary and secondary school teaching materials, including children's literature and K-12 textbooks. It supports the curriculum needs of the RMU School of Education, particularly for student teaching and other instruction practica.

LOCATION
The IRC is located on the 3rd floor of Patrick Henry (the 2nd floor of the Library) near the School of Education computer lab and the Student Engagement Office. Most IRC materials are located in the IRC room; however, secondary education curricula textbooks are located just outside of this room along the outside wall of the IRC room -- facing the last row of books of the General Collection.

ACCESSIBILITY
It is possible to perform a search limited to only materials in this collection by using ROBCAT, specifying collection limiters, and searching.

BORROWING MATERIALS
Books in the IRC Collection check out for one week, though they can generally be renewed once or twice after that.
